With the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar coming up in November, bet365 Sports and Betting News Manager, James Clarke, revealed exciting plans for the near future for his team and the gambling operator via the company’s LinkedIn.
Clarke, who joined bet365 in January of 2022 making the move after working a decade for popular British newscaster ITV News, announced that they are working hard on developing a multi-language, multi-sports global Sports and Betting News website. He said:
“In the coming months, we’ll launch a new super smart, user-friendly platform, which customers around the globe will be able to use to read and hear about all the big sports events and betting news. As well as previews, reviews and betting tipsters, we’ll have exclusive interviews, tailored video content, and bespoke imagery across our sites.”
In what is a period of transformation at the sports betting giant, the bet365 manager is looking to recruit new people and ideas to help realize the new ambitions.
“These jobs vary from management positions, to content producers, and analysts. If you’re passionate about sports, betting and news, then our team may be the perfect fit for you,” Clarke said and pitched:
Working in news is fascinating. Whether it’s the creativity, the immediacy, the attention-to-detail, the challenges, or the instant impact you can make on your audience. They’re all factors that make the creation of content a special responsibility. And if you love sport, then surely it’s a dream job…?
