Yggdrasil has sharpened its sword to celebrate the release of a new and exciting slot, ‘Of Sabre and Monsters’.
A new saga begins in this new six-reel game with 4,096 ways to get to glory. Yggdrasil’s latest combat game, based on the Vikings series, sees a new squad of heroes fighting on the reels.
The wildly popular and beloved Wild Fight™ mechanic from hits like Vikings Go Berzerk is back to help these four brave heroes slay monsters.
As the warriors spin around the reels, a meter is counted every time their symbol lands in a winning combination. When it’s completely full, the Ardent Respins are triggered. Every spin triggers the Wild Fight™ feature, which lasts as long as the fighter wins.
Three or more scatters will trigger the free spins mode when the player crosses the reels. This can trigger random features like the Ardent symbol, a high paying symbol with a 100% chance of winning a Wild Fight™ and becoming a Sticky Wild. If a hero wins their fight, they stay sticky throughout the mode.
Additionally, a Raven’s Feather can land on the sixth reel and award gifts from the Raven Magician, such as free spins or cash prizes.
Two types of free spins are offered, Regular and Tempest, both offering huge win potentials of up to 18,350x.
In some jurisdictions, players can also go directly to free spins mode through the bonus buy feature.
Of Sabers and Monsters is powered by GATI, Yggdrasil’s state-of-the-art technology that enables partners to consistently produce cutting-edge content using pre-configured, regulatory-ready, standardized development kits for rapid distribution.
Head of Product and Programs at Yggdrasil, Stuart McCarthy, said:
“Of Sabers and Monsters brings our much loved ‘battle’ mechanic Wild Fight™ back to players and for the first time it features on a ways game, with a fantastic theme and huge win potential.
“With our brave Heroes fighting for riches and glory, we’ve sounded the trumpets and all are welcome to take up arms in this epic battle.”
